A Decade of Speaking Your World: The Legacy of Health and Development Networks (HDN) The Legacy document is intended to be a record of HDN - its evolution and its impact in the field of HIV and TB.

The document aims to capture ways that the intrinsic values of HDN have impacted on people involved with the organisation, as well as the positive influence on civil
society in Africa and Asia. Key events exemplifying the work of HDN are included as indicative milestones, illustrating key moments in its journey. A foundational principle
of this project is to ensure that the intangible features of HDN’s work are sufficiently captured – to illustrate HDN’s approach to civil society networking and the tools
that have been used – qualities that are not always reflected in formal narratives describing the work of institutions. The style of the document is relatively informal,
and inevitably selective in the topics it covers.

It draws on the insights of people involved with the organisation for some time. The document includes reflections from past and present HDN employees, and civil society stakeholders who made significant contributions to HDN’s development.

HDN continues to ensure that those most affected by HIV have a significant voice - keep up the good work.
