Partners Ireland
Partners Ireland is an e-mail discussion forum focused on HIV/AIDS and other health and development issues in Ireland and abroad. By providing a platform for information sharing, dialogue and debate, the forum encourages multi-sectoral planning and policy-related advocacy among relevant Irish organisations and institutions, as well as partner organisations in other countries.
The specific objectives of Partners Ireland are to:
- Save members’ time by sharing news and other developments within the health and development sector;
- Improve communication and coordination, in particular promoting exchange between government and non-government organisations, as well as other national institutions, in Ireland and abroad;
- Encourage a state of ‘network readiness’ so that rapid responses to emerging HIV/AIDS and related issues are possible.
